BNP hires two for fixed-income insurance risk
BNP Paribas has made two additions to the insurance team within the bank’s Global Risk Solutions (GRS) group for fixed income. Earl Lancaster joins from Standard & Poor’s, where he has worked as a director in the insurance practice since 2001. Mark Gibson joins from Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance arm of Marsh and McLennan Companies, where he was a broker in the advanced risk solutions business.
Lancaster and Gibson report to Mark Azzopardi, head of insurance and pensions.
Denis Autier, head of Global Risk Solutions, says the hires will help the bank further strengthen its presence in the insurance sector.
