Deutsche Bank adds banking head for GCC

Deutsche Bank has strengthened its Middle East franchise with the creation of a new senior role. Nicholas Hegarty joins as head of global banking for the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC), an economic and political policy-coordinating forum for the six member states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates).

He will be responsible for leading the investment banking practice and developing Deutsche Bank’s coverage platform in the Gulf, reporting to Philip Southwell
