Fitch hires structured finance head

Fitch Ratings has hired Jaime Sanz as a senior director to lead its London-based European structured finance emerging markets team.

He reports to Diana Turner, managing director in the agency’s European asset-backed securities group. Sanz previously worked on Merrill Lynch’s debt capital markets team in London, marketing to central and eastern European clients.

Meanwhile, Andrei Gozia also joins the team as an associate director, reporting to Sanz. He was formerly an analyst within the emerging
