BNP beefs up securitisation

BNP Paribas is extending its securitisation business with three new hires. Arjan Verbeek joins as co-head of flow products in the securitisation group, reporting to Fabrice Susini, head of European securitisation. Two more additions to flow products will be named shortly.

Verbeek will focus on building the bank’s UK and northern European residential mortgage business, says Tim Drayson, global head of securitisation in London, who expects growth in residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS)
