Solent hires chief financial officer

Solent Capital has hired Desmond Dundon as its chief financial officer in London. Dundon joins the hedge fund and CDO manager from Merrill Lynch, where he worked as CFO for the hedge fund development and management group.

The firm has also hired Genia Diamond from BlueCrest Capital Management as investor relations director.

Solent manages around $9 billion of assets, including 15 CDOs, three structured credit investment programmes and one credit fund.
