RBS hires head of alternative risk transfer

Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Eugene Dimitrou in a new role as head of alternative risk transfer for the global banking and markets division in London.

Dimitrou joins from Morgan Stanley where he was a director responsible for cross-product coverage of UK insurance companies.

He will work with insurers and reinsurers wanting to sell or securitise insurance risks and with clients, such as hedge funds, looking to invest in them.

Dimitrou reports to Guy Miller, head of financial institutions
