Dresdner loses CDO co-head

Darren Smith has left Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London, where he was a director in the CDO business.

He had previously co-managed CDOs at the German bank alongside Jeremy Vice until Robert Walsh joined to manage cash CDOs globally in April 2004. That came as part of an expansion of Dresdner’s structured credit business focusing on cash CDOs, says a spokesperson at the bank.
