Derivatives expert joins Latham & Watkins

Law firm Latham & Watkins has hired Guy Dempsey as counsel in the finance department.

Dempsey leaves Barclays Capital, where he was general counsel for the Americas. Prior to that, he was head of structured credit transaction management, and chief operating officer for legal, Americas.

Along with his capital markets and banking experience, Dempsey specialises in derivatives and structured products.
