UBS restructures distressed debt

UBS is restructuring its distressed debt group to respond to an anticipated increase in distressed investment. Mike Carley, co-head of the global distressed debt group at UBS in Stamford, Connecticut, says that the group previously had a flat organisational structure but the bank is now adding an additional layer of management to strengthen research.

As a result, Jim Gereghty will join UBS as head
