Axa makes fixed-income hires

AXA Investment Managers has added two portfolio managers to its UK fixed-income team. Mark Benstead, who joins from Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets, where he was syndicate head, will work on credit strategy. Philip Chow, who moves from F&C Asset Management, where he managed UK and global fixed income, will be responsible for rates strategy. Both will be based in London and report to Dennis Gould, head of fixed income for the UK and Asia.
