Stuart Gulliver is to take sole responsibility for HSBC’s Corporate, Investment Bank and Markets (CIBM) businesses, following the departure of his former co-head John Studzinski. Gulliver takes on his new role immediately, while Studzinski will focus on what the bank terms “client work” until his departure on September 30.
