ABN Amro names global head of financial markets

ABN Amro has named John Nelson as global head of financial markets. Nelson, previously head of global markets Americas, takes on responsibility for sales and trading of all derivatives, credit, interest rate, foreign exchange and treasury products.

Nelson moves from Chicago to London for his new job, and will report to Gary Page, head of global markets.

Nelson has worked at the Dutch bank for more than 20 years in a variety of senior positions including regional head of the bank’s wholesale
