Deutsche Bank opened a branch in Riyadh on May 1 in the latest step of its expansion in the Middle East.

“Saudi Arabia has the largest economy in the Middle East and we recognise that the region is becoming a crucial international market,” says Josef Ackermann, chairman of the management board and group executive committee. “We look forward to working with the local businesses to develop our franchise in the region further.”
