Sophis sells stake to Advent

Sophis, the risk management solutions provider, has sold a majority stake to Advent International, a private equity investor, using the proceeds of a leveraged buyout.

Sophis founder and CEO Herve Vinciguerra will retain a stake in Sophis described by the company as “significant”, and has a place on its supervisory board. Shareholder-managers Arnaud Vinciguerra and Nicolas Roussel will reinvest in the company, and the management team remains unchanged.
