Deutsche Bank names new group treasurer

Chris Whitman, formerly head of debt capital markets at Deutsche Bank in North America, will transfer to London to take on a new job as group treasurer.

Knut Pohlen, global head of funding and liquidity management, becomes deputy treasurer in addition to his current role.

Whitman, who reports to Richard Evans, deputy chief risk officer, also joins the Group Investment Committee, the Capital and Risk Committee and the Risk Executive Committee as part of his new role.
