BarCap hires head of US distressed trading

Barclays Capital has hired Drew Doscher as head of the firm’s recently launched US distressed trading effort. Based in New York, he will report to John Kreitler, head of credit trading. Kreitler says: “Drew’s role in this newly created position will be to develop a client-focused distressed trading business which will complement the broader build-out of the firm’s US leveraged finance business.”

Doscher joins Barclays Capital from GSC Partners, which he joined in July 2005 to head the firm’s
