RBS appoints credit derivatives structurer

Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Marc Freydefont as senior credit derivatives structurer.

Freydefont will focus on building RBS’s presence in areas such as CDOs and CPPI (constant proportion portfolio insurance). He will report to Alberto Thomas, head of credit derivatives structuring, structured credit and equity products group at RBS.

Freydefont joins from Credit Suisse, where most recently he was a director within the synthetic CDO structuring group, originating and structuring synthetic CDOs
