DBRS moves into France

Dominion Bond Rating Service is to open an office in Paris after the rating agency gained approval from the French Ministry of Finance to rate French securities. The government approval came after a recommendation by financial regulator Autorité des Marchés Financiers.

The move will allow DBRS to rate French securities such as Titres de Créance Négociables, which include all commercial paper from bank and non-bank issuers and all medium-term note programmes.
