RBS takeover prompts ABN Amro management changes

The hostile takeover of ABN Amro by a consortium led by Royal Bank of Scotland has resulted in changes to the Dutch bank’s senior management.

The chief executives of RBS, Santander and Fortis will all join ABN Amro’s supervisory board. Arthur Martinez will continue as supervisory board chairman

The current chief executive of ABN Amro, Rijkman Groenink, will leave once the new appointments are rubber
