BarCap adds to distressed debt

Barclays Capital has hired two for its European distressed debt platform from Bank of America in London. Sensu Serpen, who was a principal at BoA responsible for identifying and sourcing distressed debt in the special situations group, joins BarCap as a director. Serpen, who will expand the firm’s European distressed asset platform, reports to Mahtab Hanjani, head of European high yield and distressed sales.
