Frost returns to credit

A team of six credit market veterans, including Tim Frost, formerly head of European credit sales, trading and research at JPMorgan, have set up an asset manager and credit advisory firm called Cairn Capital.

The firm will operate as an investor in credit and offer advisory work on structured credit. A third area – which would involve Cairn acting as some form of financial guarantor, perhaps on tranches of collateralised debt obligations (CDOs) – is under discussion.
