BNPP restructures fixed income

BNP Paribas has restructured its fixed-income business by splitting it into two cross-product groups for trading and marketing.

The shift brings together trading and sales people who were previously split into three product lines: credit, rates and foreign exchange (FX). The move will help the bank provide more cross-product coverage to clients, says Paul Hearn, who became co-head of global marketing for the new group when it was formed in January.
