Assenagon's new credit heads

Assenagon Asset Management has hired Jochen Felsenheimer and Wolfgang Klopfer as co-heads of credit to build up the firm's credit business. Both join from UniCredit, where Felsenheimer was head of credit strategy and structured credit research and Klopfer was head of the global structured credit/global credit markets division.

Assenagon previously had a strategic focus on equities and commodities but is now targeting growth in credit. Felsenheimer and Klopfer are building up the firm's risk
