RBS appoints head of Japanese credit trading

Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Theodore Lo as head of credit trading in Japan. Lo will be responsible for developing credit trading capabilities in the country, reporting to Lee Knight, chief executive of RBS Securities Japan.

Lo joins from Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently head of the Japan/Asia debt syndicate team.

RBS has also hired Manish Mahajan in a newly created role as head of sales for financial institutions for Asia excluding Japan. He joins from Deutsche Bank in Singapore
