Jones Lang LaSalle enters property derivatives market

US real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle has set up its own property derivatives team.

The company has recruited Jamie Goss, formerly at interdealer broker TFS, and Alex Kinsman, formerly at Fimat International Banque, to run the team. Both will become national directors at Jones Lang LaSalle in London.

Several other property companies have already entered the derivatives market, but Jones Lang LaSalle believes it is the first to do so without a partnership with an interdealer broker.
