Ong moves into academia

He said his decision to take the position at the university’s Stuart School of Business was motivated by a “personal desire” to spend more time writing, speaking, and teaching about the financial industry.

Prior to joining Credit Agricole, Ong was head of enterprise risk management at ABN Amro. His recent research has covered a spectrum of issues related to risk management and derivatives, including credit risk, operational risk, and the role of risk manager.
