UBS Warburg taps CDO structurers from JP Morgan Chase

UBS Warburg has recruited two senior collateralised debt obligation (CDO) structurers, Jeff Herlyn and Mike Rosenburg, from JP Morgan Chase.

Herlyn and Rosenburg were co-heads of North American CDO products at JP Morgan Chase. They have been appointed co-heads of UBS’s global credit CDO group, Herlyn at managing director level and Rosenburg as executive director.

“The global credit CDO group will work with credit derivatives structurers and traders to create advantageous cutting-edge products for clients focusing on third-party transactions, both cash and synthetic,” said UBS Warburg, adding that the team will be integrated within the company’s global credit derivatives business.

UBS said it expects to make additional hires to the team in London and Stamford, Connecticut.

Herlyn and Rosenburg will report to Sal Naro and Michael Connor, co-global heads of credit derivatives.
