Deutsche Bank recruits US liability structuring head

Deutsche Bank's debt capital markets group has recruited John Curran as head of liability structuring in North America.

Curran was previously a senior vice-president in Lehman Brothers' global finance solutions group. He will be based in Deutsche's New York office and will report to Chris Whitman, the North American head of debt capital markets and corporate coverage.

Whitman said Curran would be working on expanding the bank's range of security structures, using his background in tax, accounting, ratings and structuring.
