Deutsche Bank hires equity derivatives sales head in New York

Cory Carlesimo has joined Deutsche Bank's global markets institutional client group in New York.

He joins from Merrill Lynch, where he spent 14 years as a trader and salesman in the institutional debt and equity markets. At Deutsche Bank, he will lead the equity derivatives sales, special situations sales and trading, and structured equity sales teams.

The head of the institutional client group, Rich Jiminez, said that Carlesimo would be developing new derivatives products targeted specifically at hedge funds and other institutional investors.
