SG appoints new head of global forex institutional sales

SG, the corporate and investment banking arm of Société Générale, has appointed Dominick Errichetti, previously head of foreign exchange trading and sales for the Americas, as head of the French bank's global institutional foreign exchange business.

SG's forex sales business provides services for spot foreign exchange and over-the-counter vanilla, exotic and structured currency swaps and options.

In his new role, Errichetti will head global coverage aimed at international asset managers, hedge funds, central banks, flow-orientated clients and other financial institutions.

Ajaz Jafri, SG's head of institutional sales in New York, was named deputy head of the global team and will support Errichetti in his new role. Both will be based in New York.
