Morgan Stanley Investment Management hires chief risk officer

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has hired Kenneth Winston as managing director and chief risk officer, reporting to the company’s president and chief operating officer, Mitch Merin.

Winston will lead the global risk management programme for all asset classes, products, client types and operating regions, MSIM said.

He joins from Colorado-based fund manager Oppenheimer Funds, where he was senior investment officer and director of product design and risk management.
