SALLY DEWAR

The UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) has appointed Sally Dewar as its new managing director for wholesale supervision, responsible for all regulated markets and infrastructure. Dewar succeeds Hector Sants in the role, who is now chief executive officer at the Authority.

Dewar joined the FSA in 2002 as head of primary markets and then director of markets division. She previously worked at KPMG and the London Stock Exchange. Dewar's appointment, which includes elevation to board
