Philippa Girling

Nomura Securities International, the New York-based broker-dealer, has appointed Philippa Girling as director of operational risk management. Girling has been taken on to design and implement the operational risk programme at Nomura. She will report to David Ye and Koichi Okada, both of whom are managing directors in the company's risk management division. Prior to joining Nomura, Philippa served at Morgan Stanley, where she was a founder of the firm-wide operational risk
