Michael Alix

Investment bank Bear Stearns has made Michael Alix chief risk officer and Robert Neff his deputy. Both will be based in New York. Alix was previously head of Bear Stearns' global credit department and chairs its credit policy committee. Neff is currently head of market risk. Both posts have been newly created to handle "the increasing interaction of credit, trading and op risks in our businesses", says Bear Stearns chairman James Cayne.
