William McDonough

William McDonough, chairman of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, will resign his position on November 30 or when his successor is in place, whichever is sooner. McDonough came to the PCAOB in June 2003 to implement the Sarbanes-Oxley Act by creating a regulator to oversee the accounting firms that audit companies.
