Merger sparks job rumours
New York -- The merger of JP Morgan Chase and Bank One in the US has sparked rumours of job reorganisations across the breadth of both firms, and the operational risk department is no exception.
Joseph Sabatini, the current head of operational risk at JP Morgan Chase, will remain in his post and head operational risk for the combined entity. Brenda Boultwood, head of operational risk and responsible for corporate risk reporting at Bank One, will become the new risk officer for JP Morgan's Treasury Services unit. According to several sources, the entire Bank One op risk team is being kept on and redistributed within the new combined organisation.
