Fitch appoints new insurance head for German-speaking countries

Fitch Ratings has promoted Tim Ockenga to be its new analytical head for the primary insurance team in the German-speaking markets of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, but he will be based in London. Previously he was associate director covering this region.

Fitch said that this latest appointment was reflective of the strong growth the ratings agency has made in recent years and that it expected to recruit further staff for its European operations as a result of this growth.
