Nordea appoints new CEO

Nordea has appointed the current head of its asset management & life division, Christian Clausen, to succeed Lars G Nordstrom as president and chief operating officer of Nordea, when he steps down from his position in April 2007. Clausen has been a member of group executive management since 2001.
