Allianz builds risk culture

Multinational insurance group, Allianz, is boosting the risk management expertise of its subsidiaries with a number of appointments. Tobias Buechler will be the new chief investment officer of Allianz Australia, while Jurgen Guhe is taking up the role of chief risk officer (CRO) of the California-based Fireman's Fund. Pierre Joos has already taken on the post of CRO for key subsidiary Allianz Deutschland, the new holding company for Allianz's German business. All three formerly worked for
