Orpin joins Barclays

Barclays Capital has hired Gavin Orpin as an associate director within the UK pensions solutions team. Orpin joined on September 22 and reports to Serkan Bektas, head of UK pension solutions.

Prior to joining the investment bank, Orpin worked for PSolve Asset Solutions, a London-based investment adviser, where he was a principal and headed the UK corporate pension advisory business. He has also worked for consultancy William M Mercer in a similar role.
