Winterthur Life UK expands its corporate pensions business

Winterthur Life UK has appointed Niall Ferguson as group development manager, as the company expands its team in order to increase the take-up of corporate pensions business. Ferguson joins Winterthur from a position as corporate business development manager at Abbey National.

Fergusson's appointment came just before the announcement of Axa's deal to pay Credit Suisse £5.9 billion for the Winterthur Life group, but a spokesman refused to comment on how this would impact on future recruitment
