Briggs deserts Pru for Scottish Widows

Scottish Widows has snared Andy Briggs from Prudential UK & Europe, where he is currently chief executive of retirement income. Briggs, who is the latest in a wave of people to leave Prudential, will replace Nathan Moss as managing director of marketing and distribution. Briggs joined Prudential in 1987 as a pensions actuary, before moving on to manage defined benefit and defined contribution servicing units. He has been working in his current role since May 2006.
