Lloyds TSB appoints Stephen as head of pensions

Stuart Stephen has been appointed pensions director for UK financial services group, Lloyds TSB, after only eight months as head of pensions for supermarket group Sainsbury's. He left the group on 1 June and will be replaced in September by David Brennan, currently head of compensation and benefits at leisure group, Rank.

Prior to joining Sainsbury's, Stephen held senior pensions positions at Barclays Bank, Scottish Power and Coats Vivella, in addition to being a senior consultant for Mercer.
