Kew exits Norwich Union

Howard Kew, York-based insurer Norwich Union's director of capital management, has left to become chief executive of Leeds Financial Services, a development agency to encourage financial firms to set up in the Yorkshire city.

Kew's exit followed a strategic review of Norwich Union's approach to capital management, which saw his position become redundant. His role is now split among four personnel, who report to Richard Myers, director of capital, with profits and risk.
