MetLife appoints head of UK bulk annuity business

US insurer MetLife has appointed Dan DeKeizer as chief executive officer of its UK pension liability transfer business. DeKeizer has worked for MetLife since 1989, most recently in a senior position in the company's New York-based Retirement Strategies Group, where he was responsible for financial, capital and risk management issues.

DeKeizer has worked as chief financial officer for MetLife Iberia in Spain, and the company's corporate risk
