JP Morgan is making changes to its equity derivatives division in Asia as part of a global reorganisation of its derivatives sales force to create a retail-focused, cross-asset-class group.

John Robson has joined the US bank's Hong Kong business in the new role of managing director and head of retail structured products marketing for Asia ex-Japan. Robson was most recently co-head of equity derivatives for Asia ex-Japan at Nomura in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Nomura in 2005, he spent seven years
