Appointment at ANZ

ANZ has appointed Bob Edgar, senior managing director, Asia-Pacific to head up the bank's regional expansion. Edgar takes over from Elmer Funke Kupper, who left ANZ to pursue a non-banking career. Reporting to Edgar will be Mike Guerin, managing director, Pacific; David Hornery, managing director, Asia; and Owen Wilson, managing director, international partnerships. Edgar's previous role at ANZ included responsibility for the development of a relationship with PT Panin Bank in Indonesia
