Ki Myung Kim Hong, Bank of America's (BoA) Asia-Pacific chief risk officer, will replace Nelson Chai as Asia-Pacific president. Chai stepped down in late January, having taken up the post on January 1, when BoA's purchase of Merrill Lynch was officially completed. Chai had worked with former Merrill Lynch chief executive John Thain at the New York Stock Exchange. But New York-based Thain himself resigned from the merged entity in January.
