Matthew Wong took up the position of head of private investor products, marketing in Asia at ABN Amro on March 1 - he was previously head of Asian trading, equities at the Dutch bank. Wong takes over from Rupertus Rothenhaeuser, who left at the end of 2005. Previously with ABN Amro from 1997 to 2000, Wong rejoined in May 2005. In his new role, he will be responsible for further developing the private investor product franchise. He will cover Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, southeast Asia
