Henry Azzam filled the vacant chairman position at the Dubai International Financial Exchange on January 1 after Lynton Jones stepped down in December. Jones, who became the first chairman of the DIFX in September 2003, gave up the title after completing his contract with the exchange. Jones will continue as a board director.
